Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Email Elysium Chrome extension (the "Extension") and any associated Premium features. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

The service

Email Elysium adds nested folder sorting, rules, and smart organization on top of Gmail, running locally in your browser via the Gmail API with read-only access. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what data is accessed and how it is used.

Accounts and access

Premium subscription

Premium is an optional paid tier ($4/month or $40/year) that unlocks the network graph and two opt-in server-backed features: open tracking and meeting scheduling. Payments are processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe; we do not store your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through the ExtensionPay-hosted billing portal, accessible from the Extension's popup.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us using the information in the "Contact" section below.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Disclaimer of warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Folder sorting, rule suggestions, and smart flags are heuristic and may misclassify email; we do not guarantee accuracy or completeness of any classification.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Email Elysium and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension, including loss of data or missed communications.

Changes to the service or terms

We may modify or discontinue the Extension or these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its Google account access. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, including abuse of Premium server features.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, absent a controlling local consumer protection law to the contrary.
